Cary was impressed, which was the goal … ha!

Made turkey meatball fettuccine with fresh basil to go with the bread … super-yummy …

The bread was easy to make … 3 cups of flour, 1.5 tsp. salt, 1.5 cups water, and a packet of yeast … mix it in a bowl, put it in another bowl, let it rise for about 3 hours, ’til double in size, take it out of of the bowl and fold it once or twice, let it rise another 30 minutes while the oven heats up the Dutch oven to 450 … put the bread in the Dutch oven and bake covered for half an hour, remove the cover and finish baking for 15 minutes … easy-peasy!

Serve with flowers and a Valentine’s Day card … 🙂
