We continued south from the southern entrance to Kings Canyon headed for Sherman Pass and the Kern Plateau …

The next morning we met Matt on the jeep trail that heads down to the Kern River by Granite Knob … We were busy turning around, and Matt stopped to help, and to give us some tips about riding and camping in the area, which is a sort of motorcycling heaven or Mecca …
