Super Plush

We took Cary’s forks to our friend James at Super Plush over in Dogpatch, after I figured out how to get the front end off the ground using a scissor jack, a rear stand, two jack stands and several trailer straps …

James serviced the forks and put in better fork springs and a set of cartridge emulators, which should help with the racebike’s handling performance on the track … The best part was that James was kind enough to rush our job, so we managed to get the racebike back on the ground before it fell over!

The pre-load on the stock rear shock is turned up all the way stiff, and Cary is going to run that until she starts dragging stuff in the turns …

So that is progress … The first AFM race is in late March down at Buttonwillow … See you in the pits!

  1. Is that a New Jersey mouse trap!.

  2. A NJ mouse would certainly have knocked the racebike over! šŸ™‚
